Itinerary

Day 1: Cape Town to Kapama Game Reserve

  • Morning: Fly into Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport from Cape Town, where you’ll be met and transferred to Kapama Game Reserve.
  • Afternoon: After a light meal and freshening up, enjoy an afternoon game drive with your guide and tracker. Stop for a drink as the sun sets behind the Drakensberg Mountains, and spot nocturnal animals on the way back.
  • Evening: Arrive at the lodge around 19:00 for a delicious dinner. Accommodation at Kapama Karula Lodge.

Day 2: Kapama Game Reserve

  • Morning: Rise early (5:00–5:30) for tea, coffee, and rusks before a morning game drive when wildlife is most active.
  • Afternoon: Relax at the lodge, enjoy the pool, or indulge in other amenities.
  • Evening: After high tea, set out on an afternoon game drive that may last into the evening, followed by dinner. Accommodation at Kapama Karula Lodge.

Day 3: Kapama Game Reserve to Cape Town

  • Morning: Begin with an early morning game drive, followed by breakfast at the lodge. Then, transfer to Eastgate Airport for your flight back to Cape Town.
