Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Sunset Game Drive

  • Pick-Up: You’ll be collected from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg and driven to Sekekama Tented Camp.
  • Check-In: Arrive and settle into your glamping site by 14:00.
  • Afternoon Activity: At 15:00, start your 3-hour sunset game drive in the Greater Kruger Blue Canyon. You will be able to see wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.
  • Dinner: Return to camp by 19:00 for a traditional boma fire dinner and a peaceful night under the African sky.

Day 2: Full-Day Kruger National Park Safari

  • Morning: Enjoy a choice of an early departure with a bush breakfast en route, or a later start with breakfast at the lodge before heading out.
  • Safari: Spend 7 to 8 hours exploring the Orpen-Satara region of Kruger National Park, known for its high lion activity.
  • Return: Arrive back at camp in the late afternoon, with time to relax before dinner under the stars around a crackling fire.

Day 3: Full-Day Kruger Safari OR Panorama Tour

  • Option 1:
    • Full-Day Kruger Safari: Set out early to catch predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs as they hunt at dawn. Spend the day exploring more of Kruger, returning to camp for dinner.
  • Option 2:
    • Panorama Tour: See the beauty of the Panorama Route, visiting Berlin Falls, God’s Window, The Pinnacle, the 3 Rondavels, and the stunning Blyde River Canyon.
  • Dinner: Enjoy another starlit dinner with a complimentary glass of wine, sharing stories of the day’s adventures.

Day 4: Bush Walk or Sunrise Drive & Departure

  • Morning: Choose between an optional 1-hour bushwalk, perfect for spotting wildlife up close, or a 3-hour sunrise drive (R1250 per person) through the Blue Canyon Reserve.
  • Farewell: After breakfast at the camp, you’ll depart for Johannesburg, arriving at OR Tambo International Airport between 17:00 and 18:00.
