Day 1: Cape Town to Kapama Game Reserve

  • Morning: Arrive at Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport via Cape Town, where you’ll be met for your transfer to Kapama Private Game Reserve.
  • Afternoon: Freshen up and enjoy a light meal before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Stop for a sundowner as the sun sets over the Drakensberg mountains.
  • Evening: As night falls, your skilled tracker will help spot nocturnal animals. Arrive back at the lodge around 19:00 to relax and enjoy a delicious dinner at Kapama Southern Camp.

Day 2: Kapama Game Reserve

  • Morning: Wake early (5:00-5:30 AM) for tea or coffee and rusks, then set off on a morning game drive. Cooler temperatures mean more active wildlife, and the soft light is perfect for photos.
  • Afternoon: After a hearty breakfast, spend the day unwinding by the pool, reading, or exploring the lodge’s amenities.
  • Evening: After high tea, head out on an afternoon game drive, which may extend into twilight. End the day with a delightful dinner and recap the day’s wildlife sightings.

Day 3: Kapama Game Reserve to Cape Town
