The Wilderness Kruger Safari explores the south-east region of the Kruger National Park which is renowned for its abundance of birds and wildlife. Southern Kruger is rich in history and a professional safari guide will point out historical landmarks while keeping an eye on the bush for the Big 5. Sightings of large herds of elephants and buffalo are common as well as lion, cheetah and wild dog. If you’re lucky you’ll see an elusive lion resting on the massive granite outcrops or up a tree in the lush riverine forests that flank the mighty Kruger rivers.
